Sunday, October 28th, 2007: Alex Rodriguez, the best player in baseball history, opts out of his contract and cripples the Yankees just hours before the Red Sox won their second World Series in the past three years and Sox Nation became the most insufferable fanbase on the planet.

Any more contenders?

In your dreams. 2 world series in 89 years doesn’t compare not to mention Boston players are classy and NY never will be

Manny Ramirez and Jonathan Papelbon: “Classy”.
2 world series in 89 years, yes. 2 world series in three years, no.
And I’d say quite a few Yankees are quite classy.

How can you say that the Yanks don’t have class? That’s the one thing that I’d expect other teams’ fans could at least recognize and respect. It’s fine not to like them, it’s a rivalry for god’s sake, but know that the Yankees are a classy organization who usually don’t blatantly disrespect other teams or players. And don’t you bring up the “Ha” incident.

Speaking of the Blue Jays, I’d say their probably in the top three for least classy teams about now.
